PR Campaign for Influencers Who Brunch
/If you haven’t noticed by now, Meredith Events has gone through a LOT of changes over the past two years. When I decided to switch my full-time career from wedding planning and back to public relations, I knew that I didn’t want to entirely give up event planning. The biggest change I have made is that the only events I will plan are exclusively for my PR clients. I am trying to find the time (and motivation - ha) to get this website updated with current information. It is happening slowly, but surely. In the meantime, if you want to see what I am up to, you can visit Meredith Corning PR and follow me on Instagram and Facebook.
With that being said, I would love to present our most recent event planning project called Influencers Who Brunch in partnership with Meredith Corning PR. This campaign was strategically planned for my fabulous PR client, Vibrant Occasions Catering. In December 2020, Chef Serge Krikorian and his wife, Mary, purchased a mobile kitchen that can be taken on location to events. The kitchen provides a way for them to safely (and deliciously) create foods that require cooking just prior to service. This is a big win for any of you seafood and steak lovers out there.
Anywho, Serge and Mary really wanted to get the message out about the mobile kitchen, which is often mistaken for simply a food truck. It “can” serve as a food truck, but it’s so much more. Its intention and purpose is to provide their catering clients with the absolute best quality of food at events and to open up more possibilities for their clients. What an amazing concept! I certainly have not heard of a catering company in Arkansas that has done this (feel free to leave a comment if you know one). I have worked with several on-site food trucks at weddings and while they did a good job, there’s nothing like a professional catering company when it comes to exceptional service. They just get it. There is a level of standard required at weddings and galas that demands an experienced, high-end event caterer. This is where Vibrant Occasions shines. Not only that, but the mobile kitchen provides an avenue for Vibrant Occasions to travel anywhere, even outside of Arkansas, when requested.
Without further ado, Influencers Who Brunch was born as a visual to capture Chef Serge and Mary’s latest laid-back luxury, Our Mobile Kitchen, and how it is used at events. We asked four of our favorite local influencers to come play as models (and tasters!) to help us pull everything off effectively at a cute AirBnb in Little Rock’s SOMA district. The menu consisted of many international dishes, Chef Serge’s specialty. The mobile kitchen was parked right outside the AirBnb and dishes were prepared for serving inside then brought straight into the dining areas. Take a look at how it all turned out in this blog post and spread the word about this phenomenal new service available for future events.
One last detail I want to mention…I am lucky enough to also have Arkansas-based florist and florist educator, Althea Wiles with Rose of Sharon Floral Design Studio and J Althea Creative, as one of my PR clients. I love these opportunities that arise where I can incorporate my other clients into current projects I am planning. Althea arrived at Influencers Who Brunch and decorated the dining areas with floral arrangements and gifted each influencer with their own custom-designed piece of live flower accessories, such as bracelets and necklaces. A big thank you to Sydney Rasch for the beautiful photos and Brian Weaver with KB Studios for the sleek campaign video. Please follow the amazing beauty and fashion influencers who helped us make the campaign perfect: Mary Kate Whitmire with Chic Little Honey, Sarah Jo Reynolds with XOXO Sarah Jo, Alisha Curtis with Style in the Rock and Karen Alejandre with Kay P Beauty XO. If you are a business and you are not incorporating these hometown content creators into your marketing campaigns and messaging, you are missing out!
